ADAM Brody appeared unrecognizable after a surf trip with friends as he showed off long hair and a full beard.

The O.C. alum welcomed a baby boy with his wife Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester during the pandemic.

Adam, 42, looked entirely different from his early days in the spotlight when he was spotted finishing up a surf trip in Malibu on Monday.

The actor ditched his clean-cut early 2000s Seth Cohen look for a more rugged and scraggly style.

The California native was seen changing out of his surf attire, flaunting his sculpted abs, and switching it out for a plain white tee.

Adam sported copper-colored pants and black sunglasses, but the main attraction was his new hairstyle.

The star let his curly dark hair run loose as it cleared his chin on both sides of his face.

The father of two's features were hard to make out, as he showed off a full beard and mustache.

TV FAMILY

In September of 2020, the American Pie star welcomed his second child alongside his wife, Leighton.

During the pandemic, Adam appeared on a Twitch show called The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular and confirmed the happy news to seven other participants.

When someone mentioned: "Adam, you have a new baby," he revealed they had welcomed a little boy.

"I have a new – yeah, since last I played I have a new kid," he said during the Hold The Phone Comedy channel series.

"I have a boy and he's a dream, he's a dream boy."

PARENTING PREROGATIVE

Leighton, 34, and Adam also share a 4-year-old daughter called Arlo Day.

As a family of actors, Leighton opened up about their shared work schedule in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, saying Adam "is the baby daddy, in real life and not real life.

She said: "Sometimes I'll be like, 'Oh yeah, I forgot I'm married to you.' But it's been really nice having him here. He's very much a part of the family."

Leighton also revealed that feisty Arlo told them that they've "been at work for so long" and said, "both of you guys can't work at the same time."

She said: "It's like, I've been here for one day,. She's like, 'Both of you guys can't work at the same time.'"

In 2019, Leighton told Us Weekly that she was taken aback by the rush of love for Arlo, explaining: "[You have them] and you’re like, oh, okay. I don’t love anyone else. I just love them.

"And I don’t even love myself as much as I love them! Not even close. I don’t know, would I kill somebody or die for them? Sure. I would.”

CALIFORNIA LOVE STORY

Adam and Leighton met on the set of the film The Oranges in 2011 and tied the knot in a private LA ceremony in 2014.

The That's My Boy star has previously referred to her husband as her "soulmate."

Speaking to Porter Edit, she said: “I wouldn’t change anything [in the past] because I’m happy where I am now.

"I think that that’s one of the many wonderful parts of not only having a child and meeting your soulmate, but also I feel really lucky career-wise – really in a place that I want to be.”
