LUCAS MOURA nicked a Tottenham fan's hat and launched it to the floor during wild celebrations at Leicester on Wednesday.

Moura’s hilarious antics came as Steven Bergwijn scored two last-gasp goals in Spurs' 3-2 thrilling win.

And the Dutchman also set a new Premier League record in the process.

Leicester were leading 2-1 until the 95th minute when super-sub Bergwijn fired in an equaliser.

But the winger went one better with a 97th minute winner to break Leicester hearts.

Tottenham fans who had made the journey to the King Power Stadium erupted with joy as Bergwijn netted his second goal in as many minutes.

And Spurs players charged towards the away end to join in with the manic celebrations.

Moura was particularly swept up in the emotion of the occasion as he swiped a hat off a jubilant Spurs fan's head and launched it to the ground as kill-joy stewards tried to stop the players celebrating with the overjoyed away supporters.

Brazilian Moura famously scored a 96th-minute winner against Ajax to send Spurs to the 2019 Champions League final and there were similar scenes in the away end on Wednesday.

Before the hat incident occurred, fans were also delighted to see Moura leap into the arms of a steward as he tried to mix with the travelling supporters.

Tottenham had even more reason to celebrate their dramatic win as Bergwijn rewrote the record books.

The latest a team had fought back for victory in the Premier League was in May 2012, when Man City beat QPR 3-2.

Roberto Mancini’s men were 2-1 down with the timer at 91:14 before they scored the first of two late strikes, sealing a historic debut Premier League title.

However, Wednesday night's action saw Spurs 2-1 down until the 94:52 mark before they fought back through Bergwijn's double.

It means City’s existing record has been smashed by over three-and-a-half minutes.

And Antonio Conte will be hoping the morale-boosting win sets Spurs on their way to sealing a top-four finish.

The game also saw Harry Kane net his 250th club goal, almost 11 years to the day since his first while on loan at Leyton Orient.

Kane equalised for 1-1 following Patson Daka’s opener, with James Maddison’s 76th-minute effort putting Leicester ahead until Bergwijn’s fateful brace.
