Carol Vordermanhas proved that age is just a number as she celebrates her 61st birthday in style.

Christmas baby Carol turns 61 on Friday 24 December, and took to Instagram to flaunt her fantastic figure in a pair of tight leather trousers.

She paired the high-waisted trousers with a black GUESS jumper and a thick black belt with a large gold buckle.

Carol captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to [hands up emojis]. Or as we sing in Wales Penblwydd Hapus….”

“Couldn't be happier…genuinely my cup overfloweth with MOJO….

“Every year I give marks out of 10 for the year (well I do for everything) the system is that tlu can only play the marks out of 10 game if you will take a score of 7 or more as a WIN.”

Carol added: “So 2021 was a 9/10 and it's not even over yet.

“Happy Christmas to everyone from a genuine Christmas Carol. Sending so much love and mischief out there.”

Dozens of Carol’s 194,000 Instagram followers have since wished her a happy birthday.

Earlier this week, Carol explained to OK! thatshe’s a Christmas Eve baby, and revealed her plans for Christmas day.

“I'm a Christmas Eve baby, so it's a double celebration!”, she said.

“My daughter (Katie King) and her best friend will be coming to ours, and mainly I'm hoping for a more normal Christmas this year.”

As well as her daughter Katie, Carol also has a son named Cameron – both of whom she shares with her ex husband Patrick King.

Last month,Carol took to Instagram to gush over Cameronas he graduated from the University of Dundee.

Sharing a mirror snap of her and Cameron dressed in his graduation gown, the 61 year old penned: ”Such a wonderful day @dundeeuni.So Cameron was in a special school with severe learning difficulties for most of his early life but he's worked hard and learned strategies and boy how he's turned it all around. I couldn't be prouder of him.”

Carol added: "We never dared to dream this day might come when he graduated with a first class honours last year and now a Masters degree in Animation and VFX… Thank you Dundee for giving him all that you have over the last year. Amazing”.
