Earlier this year, Victoria's Secret decided to switch things up. Angels were replaced with an iconic, diverse group of celebrities and activists, such as Megan Rapinoe, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Poloma Elsesser, as part of an initiative called the The VS Collective. But that wasn't the only change that was made. Victoria Secrets' sister brand, PINK, made a similar move, recruiting young, influential public figures for its own campaigns and collections. This holiday season alone, we've already seen ads featuring actresses Lana Condor and Lexi Underwood, and now, R&B sister duo Chloe and Halle Bailey are giving us the gift of athleisure, thanks to a new line that seamlessly transitions from day to night.

Speaking with InStyle about the collaboration, the two share that they've always been fans of the nostalgic brand.

"Their sweats are always so comfortable, and we love things that we can use no matter where we are because we're on the go so much and traveling," Chloe tells us. "You want those staple pieces you can throw in your suitcase and know that you can wear. There's a blue PINK sweatsuit I wear all the fucking time, so it was fun to create pieces of our own."

Consisting of sleek matching sets in black and their favorite color, purple, as well as cropped turtlenecks and fuzzy sherpa coats, Chloe and Halle's collection has everything to keep you comfy-chic this winter — even if your big plans consist of chilling around the house. As someone who is perpetually cold, Halle explains that warmth and coziness were key when coming up with the items to include.

"We really wanted a staple piece, like a cropped turtleneck, because not only is it long-sleeved, it keeps you warm and makes you feel secure," she says. "At the same time, it's cropped and fitted, so you can still feel really feminine and sexy, whether you wear it with jeans or sweats."

According to Chloe, the ridiculously soft trench coat is the sisters' favorite piece for that very same reason.

"It's so comfy and warm, and you can wear it with anything, even if you have something dressy on or even just sweats," she adds.

Perhaps what makes Chloe and Halle the perfect pick for this collaboration is the fact that they are fashion pros. With the help of their stylist Zerina Akers, the two have been impressing us for years with their many jaw-dropping red carpet moments. Still, when asked for their best styling tips, their advice is actually quite simple. According to Chloe, you can never go wrong with all black, while Halle says her secret weapon is helpful in case of a fashion emergency.

"Sometimes you're wearing tight or white pants, and then you have your period. Bring a jacket and tie it around your waist. I always bring a jacket because that's one of more worst fears."

As far as fashion inspiration goes, Halle says it's actually her sister's confidence and comfort in her skin that has encouraged her to embrace her own style.

"Watching her kind of come into her own style and become this wonderful woman taught me, you know what? I should embrace myself," she says. "I may be small, I may be petite, but hey — I got something to work with."

Chloe echos that same sentiment, and going into 2022, tells us she's looking forward to wearing anything "that makes us feel confident, and sexy, and powerful."

It's clear that these two are each other's hype woman — both when it comes to fashion and their respective careers. Along with raving about how good the other looks while wearing the PINK collection, they snuck in a few plugs for their upcoming projects during our chat. For Halle, that means the highly anticipated, live action remake of The Little Mermaid, in which she plays Disney princess, Ariel. Chloe, on the other hand, has some new solo music on its way, and even snagged a coveted performance spot at the NYC New Year's Eve celebration.

"I think the whole family is going to come out here, and it'll be fun because we've never seen the ball drop together," Halle tells us, looking forward to seeing her sister take the stage for the event. "It will be a nice place to spend the New Years."

However, while the women continue to branch out and achieve success on their own, they make it clear they'll always be sisters first, and aren't done working with each other.

"We're going to start working on a project together," says Chloe. "It's fun because we're like fulfilling ourselves within the group and also individually."

Chloe and Halle's VS PINK collection comes in sizes XS to XXL, with prices ranging from $30 to $55. You can shop it now at victoriassecret.com.
