A MUM has revealed that she takes all five of her children to kids’ birthday parties, even if only one is invited.

TikTok user Jeena shared a video where she explained that she extends invitations to all of her brood.

"Are you team just the invited child goes or team the whole family?" mum, Jeena writes in the caption of the now-viral TikTok.

"My husband works a lot and most days it’s just me and the kids! I always RSVP or ask the parents first."

In the clip, Jeena gives her point-of-view: "When you invite one of my children to a birthday party," she says.

As she turns and runs away from the camera, all five of her children follow along, ranging in age from nine years old and ending with her husband carrying their four-month-old baby.

"You invite one child, you get all of us," the on-screen caption reads, then at the end, she adds, "Don't worry, we bring awesome gifts."

Jeena's confession sparked an epic debate online.

People on TikTok had a lot to say about Jeena's video.

"I would never do this," commented one person. "If someone wants only one of your kids at the party, you have to respect their decision."

Another added, "Imagine being a single parent on a budget and this happens, I'd be so embarrassed and upset."

Several commenters pointed out that children need to be able to socialise outside of their immediate family.

"Each child deserves their own individual experiences without their siblings," commented one person.

Another added, "Imagine being the oldest getting invited to a party with kids their age, and all of the sudden they have toddlers hanging around. I'd feel sorry for the host."

One person went as far as calling this act "tacky," adding, "especially if you clearly have a partner that can stay home with them. And if not, why not just decline?"

Jeena replied to one of the comments saying, "In our household, if you invite one, you're inviting us all. We always ask the parents first and we don't just show up. But if you keep insisting on just the one child… red flag and we most likely aren't coming."
