A new docuseries Secrets of Playboy will take a look behind the closed doors of the famous Playboy Mansion next month.
In 1953, the late Hugh Hefner launched his smash-hit X-rated magazine, while the parties at his home were legendary.
But clips from the new show released this week have shown Playmate Holly Madison reveal how Hef was furious when she cut her hair and claim drugs were used for sex.
But what happened to some of the most famous Playboy women?
From famous sex tapes to reality TV show stints and a tragic drug overdose, the ex-bunnies have certainly had colourful lives.
Here, the Daily Star takes a look at where the magazine pin-ups are today.
Pamela Anderson
There’s perhaps no other woman in the world who says Playboy more than the ex-Baywatch actress.
She covered the magazine a record 14 times, and has been married on five occasions, most controversially to Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee, father of her two sons.
Her romance with him – and their sex tape – has even been made into its own upcoming series starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan.
Pammy, 54, is now better known as an animal rights activist and for her unlikely friendship with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange – she even asked then-US President Donald Trump to pardon him.
Holly Madison
Former Hooters waitress Holly was one of a trio of Hef’s girlfriends who featured in reality show The Girls Next Door, which was followed by her own spin-off Holly’s World.
The 41-year-old once said she would like to marry him and have his babies but they split in 2008.
Dating Hef brought fame and Holly, who insured her surgery-inflated breasts for $1million, landed spots on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, and a stint on the Las Vegas strip in burlesque show Peepshow.
She married music promoter Pasquale Rotella and had two children but the pair divorced in 2019.
Bridget Marquardt
Another of Hugh’s Girl Next Door girlfriends, Bridget, 48, found success on the big screen in comedy horror Kottentail as a scientist doing genetic research on rabbits, then played herself in TV classic Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Nickelback hired her for their Rockstar music video.
She is now a paranormal investigator with her podcast Ghost Magnet.
The ex-bunny and actress has also appeared in spooky TV shows like Celebrity Ghost Adventures.
Kendra Wilkinson
The third of the Girls Next Door, Kendra landed two of her own spin-off shows.
A reality TV regular, she appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2014 as well as Dancing With The Stars in the US.
The 36-year-old also had a sex tape released by a high school boyfriend.
She married American footballer Hank Baskett at the Playboy Mansion, but they divorced in 2018.
This year the mum-of-two launched herself as a real estate agent in LA with Discovery+ show Kendra Sells Hollywood.
Anna Nicole Smith
Named 1993 Playmate of the Year, Anna became famous for marrying 89-year-old billionaire J Howard Marshall when she was just 26.
He died a year later without ever including Anna in his will and she found herself in legal wrangles for his money.
The blonde, who starred in Naked Gun 33⅓ and Ally McBeal, later got her own 2002 reality programme The Anna Nicole Show which also featured her lawyer and boyfriend Howard Stern.
She had a son, Daniel, from an early marriage, but he died from a drug overdose in 2006.
Just six months later, Anna suffered the same fate, dying from an accidental prescription drugs overdose aged just 39.
She left behind new-born daughter Dannielynn, who is now 15.
Jenny McCarthy
The 1994 Playmate of the Year, Jenny shot to stardom with film roles in Scream 3 and John Tucker Must Die.
She also landed her own talk show and co-hosted the American version of Loose Women, The View.
Married to New Kids On The Block singer Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny, 49, has more recently caused controversy since becoming an anti-vaxxer, claiming alternative therapies “cured” her autistic son.
Carmen Electra
Carmen, 49, began modelling for Playboy in 1996 before getting her big break in Baywatch as Lani McKenzie.
She’s also been a dancer with the Pussycat Dolls, recorded an album and took film parts in the likes of the Scary Movie series and Get Over It.
She was a guest judge on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 and was married to pro basketball player Dennis Rodman and Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro.
Victoria Silvstedt
A former Miss World contestant, the Swede – who once shared a flat with Melania Trump – modelled after Playboy.
The 47-year-old was a judge of British reality fashion show Project Catwalk.
