LOVE Island stars aren't exactly known for dressing up, given the perma-swimwear enforced on the show.

But they really went for it this Halloween, with a range of chilling costumes that would give Hollywood a run for its money.

Here, we round up some of the best efforts the reality stars laid on, from a headless Molly-Mae to a Maura Higgins as an iconic movie character.

Molly-Mae Hague

She's arguably the most famous former Love Islander around these days so Molly-Mae had to make sure she looked amazing as well as spooky.

Turning up at the Pretty Little Thing party dressed as a dead beauty queen seemed to tick both boxes.

The star strode in with a sash reading "Miss Halloween 2021" with blood pouring from a gash around her neck that made it look like her head was about to topple off.

Maura Higgins

"Big mistake. Huge!" Not really – Maura Higgins won widespread praise for this smart outfit channelling Julia Roberts.

She turned up at the Pretty Little Thing party dressed as down-on-her-luck Hollywood prostitute Vivian Ward from Pretty Woman.

In fact, it was quite hard to spot it was her in the blonde bobbed wig and red lipstick. Sadly with Giovanni out of the picture there was no Richard Gere to complete the picture.

Joanna Chimonides

Many drivers are hard pressed to find a space in most car parks, such is the trend for former Love Island stars posing in them.

2019 star Joanna Chimonides was no different, posing in this 'sexy cat' style number saying: "Halloween, I’m ready for you 🎃."

Now, just got to find where you put that parking ticket.

Like many reality stars this year, Love Island 2016's Kady McDermott went for the 'sexy/scary' vibe.

However, the balance was tilted firmly in favour of the racy, with the star clad in a super-tight PVC outfit and some bondage-style boots.

However, if you look closely there is a bit of 'blood' around her mouth and chesty. Halloween mission accomplished!
