Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have shared their excitement to introduce their baby daughter to her big brother.
Beatrice, 33, welcomed her first child with husband Edoardo, 38, in the late hours of Saturday 18 September.
As the Royal Family confirmed the arrival of the couple's daughter on Monday 20 September, they expressed the couple's excitement over introducing the newborn to her big brother Christopher.
The statement read: "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf."
Edoardo has son Christopher from a previous relationship with Dara Huang, to whom Edoardo was engaged to until 2018.
The property developer's son was born in 2016. The parents keep their child away from the spotlight and do not share photos of him online.
Princess Beatrice has taken on her role as a step mum to Christopher very seriously as the four year old was included in the couple's intimate wedding ceremony at All Saints Chapel, Windsor Great Park in July last year.
Little Christopher had the all important roles of page boy and best man during the nuptials, which were attended by just 20 guests including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who has since passed away.
Christopher's mother Dara is understood to split her time between London and Hong Kong due to her work.
And Christopher, who is nicknamed 'Wolfie', stays with dad Edoardo and step-mum Beatrice when Dara is in Asia.
Beatrice's role of step-mum means she's had some parenting practice and has seen what her husband is like as a father.
A source previously told People: "Edo is easily one of the best dads.
"He is so involved, he is so committed to this little boy, and Beatrice is already showing that she’s a fantastic step-mummy already. They’ve been on family vacations together already.
"They are really happy, there’s no better person they could have for a step-mummy."
The insider added that mum Dara and her ex Edoardo "are a unit, a really good unit together".

"Everyone is really happy, they are very supportive," the source said. "He’s an awesome father, period, end of story!"
Meanwhile, Beatrice has previously gushed over her role as a step mum in an essay for Evening Standard.
She wrote: "I had the great honour to become a stepmother and have had the most remarkable time going back over some of my most favourite stories at bedtime.
