Tom Parker says he's 'feeling really positive' in his health

The pop star announced in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. The devastating news came as he prepared to welcome his second child with his wife Kelsey. Tom has kept his fans updated about his journey via his social media accounts, although, during Friday’s Good Morning Britain, he told host Charlotte Hawkins he was “feeling good”.

When Tom was told he had a brain tumour, he declined to be told his prognosis, insisting that he would rather continue living his life.

The average life expectancy for Tom’s condition is said to be 12 to 18 months from the time of diagnosis, according to the Brain Tumour Charity.

Speaking with the rest of his bandmates on GMB, Tom said he was feeling “surprisingly good”.

He went on to recall his gruelling chemotherapy treatment, where he admitted he couldn’t get out of bed.
