REVENGE thriller fans could have a new favourite on their hands as Netflix is set to premiere Hit and Run in just one week's time.
And it's set to be even more twisted than the smash hit Gone Girl with a mix of action and unexpected mysteries to be solved.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The high octane trailer shows there much more than meets the eye when a man's wife is killed in a car accident.
Israeli actor Lior Raz leads the actor and stars as Segev, a happily married man whose life is turned upside-down when his wife is murdered.
The short trailer sees Segev preparing himself for battle as locations from New York to Tel Aviv are shown.
But there are question marks at both ends of the spectrum as Segev hints at his own mysterious past.
He says: "Maybe it wasn’t about her. You know what I was."
While an unidentified voice said of his wife: "She’s really ruined your life. I hope she was worth it."
The official synopsis from Netflix reads: "The life of a happily married man is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv.
"Grief-stricken and confused, he searches for his wife’s killers.
"With the help of an ex-lover, he uncovers disturbing truths about his beloved wife and the secrets she kept from him."
WHO STARS IN THE SERIES?
Fans will recognise Raz from his turn as Doron Kabilio in the political thriller Fauda.
The actor is also co-creator and executive producer of the series.
The Affair and Succession star Sanaa Lathan plays Naomi Hicks, Segev's ex-lover who is set to help him uncover the truth about his wife's death.
Kaelen Ohm takes on the role of Danielle Wexler Azulay, Segev’s wife, and Israeli actress Moran Rosenblatt stars as the police detective helping to solve the case.
WHEN AND WHERE DOES IT AIR?
Hold tight, there's just a week to go. Hit and Run's first season premieres on Netflix on August 6.
