ASTON Merrygold has said racist abuse towards his young son Grayson makes him "see red".
The JLS singer slammed the shocking treatment England football players are suffering after they missed penalties in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday.
It comes after Aston, 33, asked for help to track down racist trolls on Instagram last year after they targeted his three-year-old's own social media page.
He spoke about the experience on BBC One's Morning Live show earlier today with host Janette Manrara.
She said: "There’s been a lot on the news about the social media abuse that the England players have been getting and I know you yourself Aston have actually gone on and chased some of the trolls that were awful to your son, it must be difficult being in the public eye”
Aston replied: "It is, it’s very difficult and for me personally, I’ve experienced things like this since I was a young boy and it’s given me tough, thick skin coming into this industry.
"Especially an all black boy band as well, it was never going to be easy for us and it hasn’t been but we kept strong.
"When my son is subjected to that, I was never ready for that in my head.
"For me, I can brush it off I can, I suppose succeed, that’s the best way to kind of silence people. When it’s someone like your child that gets subjected to that.."
Janette's co-host Gethin Jones interrupted and said: "oh my god, you can’t even imagine".
And the singer replied: "No you can’t and I just see red but I’ve made my piece with that now"

Aston joins the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the FA and Met Police who have all slammed the racists who attacked the Lions after they were beaten on penalties by Italy at Wembley.
Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho all missed penalties – and the trio were all targeted on social media.
Sick morons left vile messages and sent monkey emojis to the young players.
The PM said yesterday: "This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media.
"Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves."
The Met Police has vowed to launch a probe into the repellent trolling.
The force said: "We are aware of a number of offensive and racist social media comments being directed towards footballers following the Euro 2020 final.
"This abuse is totally unacceptable, it will not be tolerated and it will be investigated."
