‘Worst of the worst’: Feds allege Josh Duggar had trove of child porn on computer

Josh Duggar says he’s too recognizable to be flight risk in child porn case

Former reality TV star Josh Duggar was released from an Arkansas jail on Thursday as he awaits trial on federal charges that he downloaded and kept a trove of sick child porn on his computer.

Duggar, 33, said nothing as he walked out of the Washington County jail in Fayetteville with his attorney, video shows.

Wearing an untucked button-up shirt, jeans and a surgical mask, Duggar strolled past reporters as they asked him about the charges, before getting into a black SUV.

The former star of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” will now be confined to the home of family friends who have agreed to serve as his custodians pending his July 6 trial.

Duggar was granted bail by a federal judge on Wednesday, after a hearing where authorities revealed sickening details about the the alleged crime.

Homeland Security special agent Gerald Faulkner testified that the files allegedly found on Duggar’s devices were some of “the worst of the worst” that he ever had to examine.

The sick pics — some involving toddlers — were downloaded to a computer at a car dealership that Duggar owned in May 2019, the feds allege.

A program that was supposed to alert his wife, Anna, when he viewed X-rated material had been installed.

But the child porn was downloaded after software allowing him to bypass the monitoring system was set up, the agent alleged.

Under the terms of his release, Duggar can will have contact with his six children but only when his wife — who is expecting their seventh kid — is present.

He can’t be around other minors, including family members.

The series chronicling the life of Duggar’s Christian fundamentalist family was canceled in 2015, following revelations that Duggar had molested four of his sisters and a babysitter as a teen. He was never charged over those allegations.

Duggar previously apologized for a porn addiction and cheating on his wife.

He was arrested by US Marshals on Thursday and indicted Friday on one count each of receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty.

If convicted, Duggar faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $500,000.
