Many capacity restrictions in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut — including those affecting restaurants, offices, museums and theaters — will end May 19, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
“I believe in the trajectory we are seeing,” Cuomo said at a press conference, referring to the metro area’s decreasing COVID-19 figures.
Still, he said the current CDC guidance that calls for 6-foot social distancing must be followed at establishments where proof of a negative test or vaccination is not required.
