The month of May brings with it two bank holidays for most of the UK. Now socialising is back on the cards and hospitality has reopened across the UK, many are enjoying the upcoming long weekend with fewer restrictions as coronavirus cases fall across the four nations.

Is tomorrow a bank holiday?

The next bank holiday throughout the UK is the Early May Bank Holiday, which takes place on Monday, May 3.

Most bank holidays happen across the UK, but the individual countries do have their own bank holidays in some instances, such as national days, such as St Andrew’s Day in Scotland.

The vast majority of bank holidays also fall on a Monday or Friday, except the Christmas and Boxing Day substitutes.
