A WOMAN revealed the desperate lengths a bloke she blocked went to to try and get her attention – by changing the names on the Netflix account.
It’s a well-known fact people sneakily continue using their other half’s account after they break up, but one lad found a genius way to use it to talk to his ex.
A woman, called Katelyn, shared a clip to TikTok, saying: “This is a new one.”
She revealed she’d blocked a boy, but was still watching films on his Netflix – which he knew.
So when she didn’t respond to his messages, he changed the names on each of the account profiles to talk to her.
Katelyn explained: “So I blocked this guy I had been talking to, but was still low-key his Netflix low-key and…”
She pans over to the TV, where it now says ‘please unblock me’.
Katelyn admitted: “Is it wrong that I am kind of impressed?
The clip has racked up more than four million views – as people encouraged her to take him back.
One person said: “He’s trying so hard. You have to give him props.”
Another wrote: “Wait I love this so toxic but the effort is A+. Unblock him.”
A third commented: “Don’t even email me at this point, Netflix profile me.”
While this woman said: “Unblock him. I’d give him a second chance. I mean he’s letting you use his Netflix still, plus that’s really cute.”
But Katelyn confirmed she never unblocked him, revealing she chucked him after discovering he was chatting to her best friend – at the same time as her.
Despite the pair being ‘exclusive’, he still went behind her back to try and chat up her pal.
“It’s not the first time I’ve caught him being shady,” she added.
But she added: “Just to clarify I do have my own Netflix, but my reasoning at the time was he used me for months, so I’m going to get a free month of Netflix.
“Moral of the story is if he tries to communicate through Netflix – run.”
