Christmas is just around the corner, which means that we’re all getting ready to enjoy our favourite festive foods.
Whether your must-have is lashings of cranberry sauce or delicious Brie cheese we’ll bet you’re excited to get chewing.
However, while we all love traditional Christmas food – even the sprouts when cooked right – there is one place we’re not sure about seeing them.
On pizza…
Lidl is selling a Brussels Sprouts, Stuffing, Brie and Cranberry Sauce pizza for just £3.29 – and it’s caused a bit of a backlash from shoppers.
Would you try this sprouts pizza? Let us know in the comments…
While the supermarket’s pigs in blankets pizza is somewhat of a hit, the sprout-covered version caused a less-enthusiastic stir.
A photo of the unique dish was shared on the Facebook page “Snack News & Reviews”.
Over 180 people responded to the post with some saying that the pizza was a “step too far”.
One person wrote: “That's just all kinds of wrong.”
“Love sprouts, but that’s a step too far,” added another.
“Sounds disgusting,” commented a third.
While a fourth joked: “If 2020 was a pizza.”
Fortunately, not everyone was so quick to reject the sourdough pizza.

"I have bought all of these – they’re ace,” a third poster praised.
Many others say they were willing to “give it a go” to see if the festive slices were delicious.
