SLAVEN BILIC is favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post, according to the bookmakers.

The 2020-21 campaign is nearly a quarter of the way through and there hasn't been a single managerial dismissal in the English top flight.

But that could all change during the festive period, where fixtures come thick and fast and owners tend to get itchy trigger-fingers.

And bookies Betfair think Baggies chief Bilic could be the first axed at 2/1.

West Brom are in 19th position having claimed just six points from their opening 11 fixtures.

They also boast the unwanted record of having the leakiest defence in the division (23) and the worst goal difference (-15).

Following close behind is Sheffield United's Chris Wilder at 11/4.

The 53-year-old, who guided the club to an incredible top-half finish last season, is under real pressure.

The Blades have collected a single point this campaign and share the joint-lowest goal tally with Burnley having scored just five in 10 outings.

It's statistically the worst start to a season from any club in Premier League history.

The next manager in the sack race, Mikel Arteta, has also set a record this term.

The Spanish tactician has overseen Arsenal's worst league start for 39 years having collected just 13 points from 11 games.

Arteta previously looked safe as houses in his position at 50/1 but a miserable run of results has seen his price shift dramatically to 11/2.

Fulham's Scott Parker has been priced at 15/2 to be the next manager given the boot, while Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a 9/1 shot.

Pressure was somewhat lifted off the Norwegian's shoulders after a fine comeback against West Ham over the weekend.

But Tuesday's Champions League group stage decider against RB Leipzig could potentially be 'make or break' for the Old Trafford legend.

Betfair Spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: "After a thumping at the hands of Crystal Palace, West Brom manager, Slaven Bilic's job is on the line in their next match against Newcastle according to reports this week.

"He is the 2/1 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post, while Chris Wilder is just behind him at 11/4 and Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta at 11/2."
