Billie Eilish is making a tradition of her interview with Vanity Fair.
Ever since 2017, the 18-year-old Grammy winner has sat down with the magazine for the same exact interview and she did it again for 2020.
For the fourth interview, Billie reflected on how the pandemic has allowed her to become more politically engaged and informed and what she’s most looking forward to in the future.
“I have learned so much more about the way people are living that I wasn’t aware of before,” she shared. “The climate crisis and social injustice and all the bad things made me think differently. I will never stop fighting for all the Black and brown people who have lost their lives to police brutality.”
Billie also shared some advice that she’s learned while growing into a huge artist.
“Getting bigger and bigger makes me more comfortable about not having to prove myself,” she says. “People look up to you so that you will tell them what you, yourself, would actually tell them.”
