Alex Jones, 43, has reassured her 267,000 Instagram followers that her one-year-old son Kit is okay after she had to take him to a hospital appointment yesterday before appearing on The One Show. The mum-of-two was concerned she wouldn’t make it on time to film the BBC show, as the hospital appointment was running later than planned.

Fortunately, the Welsh presenter got to work on time and updated fans on her son’s health in an Instagram Story video yesterday evening.

She revealed: “I made it to work, we’ve had the production meeting.

“I’m now in the make-up room.”

While grimacing and trying to tame her brunette hair, Alex added: “I’m going to sort this out, and this out.

“So a lot of work required here as you can see,” addressing her lack of make-up ahead of her TV appearance.

Alex then thanked her followers for sending her messages to ask how her son was following his medical issue.

She added: “Thanks to everybody who’s asked about Kit.

“We’re absolutely fine, it’s something pretty routine, he’s all good, thank you very much.” 

“Now to tackle this,” she quipped while looking in the mirror at her reflection.

Alex captioned the clip: “Kit update: he’s all good thanks for asking.”
