LITTLE Mix's Jade Thirlwall has insisted the group would not split up after Jesy Nelson took an "extended break".
The 27-year-old singer also said she'd been hit with Covid, saying: "I had a bit of the old 'rona."
Speaking to Hit network host Ash London, she answered questions about what is in store for the group.
Jade said: "You know, eventually in the future we might go off and do our own bits and bobs – but Little Mix will literally never die.
"We've always said that – we're like, we always need Little Mix. I think it's nice that people are starting to do their own bits and bobs."
"I definitely want to travel more and see more fans all over the world."
A spokesman for the group explained earlier this week that Jesy, 29, is taking “extended time-off” from Little Mix for private medical reasons.
The Sun revealed that Jade, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have each been involved in secret plans to launch individual careers next year at the end of their existing deal.
Jesy is also in talks over plans for her own solo career which will resume as soon as she's feeling better.
Talking about her recent health, Jade told Ash London: "Oh yeah, I had a bit of the old 'rona but I was all right.
"I had to isolate for two weeks. I was OK and I live with my best friend so she was looking after me."
The Sun revealed yesterday that Jade is being courted by the BBC for a series of high-profile hosting gigs after impressing bosses on their shows The Search and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
An insider said: “The Beeb see her as a young Davina McCall and are trying to come up with some concepts for her now.
"She shone on The Search and really stood out when she was a guest on RuPaul."
