Aldi has graced customers by selling a new spread which is similar to Biscoff, according to shoppers.

The German retailer released the new product which comes in either smooth or crunchy textures.

For just £1.69, shoppers say the treat is similar to the Lotus Biscoff spread that is usually priced at £2.30.

Fans went wild over the new additions since it was shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

And according to Liverpool Echo, the post was greeted with excitement among the Aldi shoppers.

Many social media users rushed to tag their family and friends into the post which was teasing the new spread.

When it was shared, the shopper wrote: "They've got this in Aldi, tastes exactly the same as Biscoff and good for cheesecakes."

Other fans even pointed out that Aldi's version looked a lot bigger than Biscoff's.

One tagging a friend, wrote: "If you go to Aldi can you grab me five of these please?

"Want to make a Biscoff Cheesecake."

Another added: "Oh yes, nice one."

A third commented: "Absolutely beautiful."

While a fourth gushed: "Omg my favourite one ever."

However, one customer told how she tried to get it in her local store but it was nowhere to be found.

She said: "I went yesterday but couldn't see it."

Aldi kept the launch of the tasty new spread quiet as it's not featured online.

However, you can buy it if you head to your local branch.
