Kanye West has announced that he is giving G.O.O.D. Music artists back what he owns of their masters.

“I’m giving all Good music artist back the 50% share I have of their masters,” the G.O.O.D. Music label boss said on Twitter on Wednesday, September 23.

The G.O.O.D. Music roster, which was founded by Ye in 2004, features big names like, Big Sean, 070 Shake, Pusha T, Desiigner, Teyana Taylor, John Legend, and many more.

The rapper has been fighting with his labels Universal Music Group and Sony/ATV, asking them to give artists ownership over masters.

West has threatened that he will not release new music until he is set free from contracts with Sony and Universal.
