Chadwick Boseman‘s 2018 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is trending, just shortly after his untimely passing, and there’s a good reason why.

The Black Panther actor surprised his biggest fans on the show, by popping out from a red curtain just after they shared why Black Panther was a great movie to them.

“For me, as the mother of a young son, my son’s childhood has been defined by Barack Obama and now Black Panther. So thank you,” one woman said before Chadwick pulled back the curtain and surprised her and her son.

“Representation is very important,” another fan said about the film. “It gives the kids hope and it gives them the confidence to say things like, ‘Hey, are you Killmonger’s mamma?’ on the street when I’m going to work. I appreciate that. I thought I had a stylish haircut.”

After his appearance on the show, Chadwick shared images of him with the fans and the video, saying that he “loved every minute” of the segment.
