A SHOCKING video shows Kyle Rittenhouse's victim had a gun during the Kenosha protest as the teen's lawyer is arguing self-defense.
Newly released footage shows Rittenhouse – the 17-year-old who allegedly shot three protesters marching for Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin – supposedly shooting his third victim.
Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, was allegedly shot by Rittenhouse and seriously injured on Tuesday night.
He was the third protester allegedly shot by Rittenhouse and the only one who survived.
Grosskreutz will reportedly need reconstructive surgery after taking a bullet to the bicep.
Rittenhouse also allegedly shot and killed Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, while acting as a self-styled vigilante during the unrest that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday.
Prosecutors from Antioch, Illinois, charged the teen gunman with murder on Thursday afternoon.
And now the teen's lawyer, L. Lin Wood, is claiming Rittenhouse acted in self-defense.
The Atlanta-based attorney, wrote to Twitter on Friday: "'Video eye' does not lie. Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense. Murder charges are factually unsupportable.
"An egregious miscarriage of justice is occurring with respect to this 17-year old boy. I love truth & justice. I deplore lies & injustice. Had those feelings ALL my life."
The footage shows Grosskreutz – toting a handgun – appearing to make his way towards Rittenhouse.
Grosskreutz then seemed to try and grab the 17-year-old's weapon.
Wood urged people to take rumors and accusations "with a grain of salt" as "lies are always revealed when truth is disclosed."
According to the criminal complaint – filed Thursday in Kenosha County Circuit Court and obtained by the New York Post – Grosskreutz “appears to be holding a handgun in his right hand when he was shot.”
Rittenhouse's lawyer said the footage from the incident would declare Rittenhouse as blameless.
"The 'media frenzy rumor mill' is in full swing to discredit Kyle," Wood added.
Included in Rittenhouse's charges are one count of first-degree intentional homicide, one count of first-degree reckless homicide, one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.
If convicted of first-degree intentional homicide, Rittenhouse could face a mandatory life sentence.
According to the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, Rittenhouse is being held without bond and didn't appear for a livestreamed hearing on Friday.
His next court date is set for September 25.
Protests and riots arose this week after Blake, a 29-year-old African-American, was shot seven times in the back during an arrest.
