When is The Duchess released on Netflix?
Katherine Ryan will be dropping her brand-new Netflix series The Duchess on September 11.
As per Netflix, all episodes will be made on the platform in one go.
The show will be hitting the platform in the UK from 8am BST with fans able to watch the show from then.
The show imagines a fictional version of Ryan, who is described as an “all-round bad person”.
However, her one redeeming quality is her love for her daughter, whom she will do anything for.
The Duchess paints a picture of being a single mother in London and the pitfalls of parenthood.
This series follows on from Ryan’s stand-up comedy and appearances on panel shows such as Taskmaster.
Who is in the cast of The Duchess on Netflix?
Ryan leads the cast as the dysfunctional single mother as the centre, also called Katherine.
Joining her is child actress Kate Byrne as her daughter Olive.
Rory Keenan takes on the role of Olive’s father Shepherd Knight, who was once part of a boy band.
He now lives on a canal boat and shares custody of Olive with Katherine.
