The Mail reports United waived a transfer fee on top of dishing out the handsome pay-off to help seal a permanent move to the San Siro for Sanchez.
United were believed to be happy with their piece of business with Sanchez set to have earned around £50m from the remainder of his contract – which had nearly two years left to run.
Sanchez arrived in Serie A last summer on a season-long loan but has now made the move permanent.
The former Arsenal star penned a three-year deal on £130,000 a week with Antonio Conte's side.
The 31-year-old was previously the highest paid player in the Premier League but was keen to remain in Italy.
Ex-Barcelona man Sanchez had a mini-resurgence for Inter this season, chalking up 13 goal involvements in 22 league games.
Four goals and nine assists convinced the Italian club he was worth keeping around and now Sanchez could even face United in the final of the Europa League if both sides progress.
His underwhelming spell at Old Trafford incredibly cost United £28,800 per TOUCH thanks to his astronomical pay packet.
He joined the club in January 2018 from the Gunners in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan but what was originally sold as a free transfer became incredibly expensive.
Sanchez cost United £60m and only scored THREE Premier League goals in 18 months.
