Joe Rogan is one of the most popular comedians in the world, and his recent $100 million deal with Spotify is proof of how popular he is. He’s popular for a lot of reasons, and one of them is because of how diverse his interests are. He may be best-known for his work as a UFC commentator or as the host of his podcast, but he also participates in many other hobbies, too.

Like many people, cars are one of his favorite hobbies, and Rogan has many cars in his garage. One of those cars is a $100,000 Corvette that he’s heavily modified for the modern-day.

A look at Joe Rogan’s net worth

Rogan got his big break in showbiz as a comedian, but he’s slowly becoming a cultural figure in his own right. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is extremely popular and it’s only becoming more popular.

That isn’t his only source of income however, as he also works for the UFC from time to time, and when he’s not doing that, he’s probably making comedy specials for Netflix. 

Before his Spotify deal, Rogan was estimated to be worth about $30 million. However, thanks to that deal, his current net worth has ballooned upwards to over $100 million. His popularity shows no sign of slowing down, so his net worth will probably continue to rise in the near future. 

With that much money to his name, he has, like many other celebrities, bought many cars to play around with. 

A 1965 Corvette Stingray

Like Hot Cars wrote, Rogan owns a 1965 Corvette Stingray that’s worth about $100,000. While the Corvette from this era isn’t the rarest car on the market, it is a testament to Rogan’s taste in cars. 

Rogan showed off his Corvette to Jay Leno in an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, and the two men not only talked about the car, but they also drove around in it.

Rogan told Leno about how much he loves classic American muscle cars, and that was one of the reasons why he decided to buy this Corvette in particular. 

That said, muscle cars from this period have a lot of issues. They were good-looking cars that had a powerful engine for the time, but they were also missing a lot of features, too. That’s why Rogan didn’t get a plain old classic Corvette, he instead did extensive modifications for it. 

The modifications on Joe Rogan’s Corvette

Technically speaking, Rogan hired a more qualified person to do those modifications. That person was, according to Hot Cars, Steve Strope from a company called Pure Vision.

Obviously, Rogan had some input on what should be modified and what shouldn’t be. For example, Rogan helped design the interior of his Corvette. 

But, when it came to things like the Corvette’s inner workings, Rogan left that to the professionals. Hot Cars said that much of Rogan’s Corvette has been modified and upgraded so that it can feel like a modern car. For example, Rogan’s Corvette has a new chassis, new brakes, a new A/C system, and of course, a new engine. 

Rogan’s Corvette currently has a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine that also has a supercharger slapped onto it. This new engine delivers well over 400-hp, which is actually about the same as what the original engine provided. As a result of these modifications, Rogan can drive his Corvette around for day-to-day errands. 

Due to its extensive modifications and upgrades though, Rogan definitely paid far more than $100,000 for his Corvette when all’s said and done. But, since he’s so rich, it was probably a drop in the bucket for him.
