The Voice Kids 2020 kicked off this evening with the first set of this year’s auditions. Pixie Lott, Paloma Faith, will.i.am and Danny Jones were all stunned when teenager Lydia revealed she was blind after performing a rendition of Elton John’s Your Song. After her performance, the youngster revealed she wanted to help people through singing and viewers were left in tears.

One said: “Now I’m blubbering! I just love this show!! #TheVoiceKidsUK.”

“I’m emotional and she sang my fave Elton John song #TheVoiceKidsUK,” another shared. 

“What a brave girl Lydia is and a very gentle, soothing voice,” a third added. 

Someone else shared: “#TheVoiceKidsUK So glad they turned, I’m in tears.”
