EASTENDERS' final show tonight will end in a huge twist as Ian buys The Vic for Sharon – not Phil, fans have claimed.

The BBC soap will go off air after running out of episodes during the coronavirus lockdown.

It is set to be off screens for the majority of the summer and may not return until September, one show insider has suggested.

Tonight viewers will finally find out who is taking over the pub – and they may get a huge surprise.

One fan predicted: "thinking about if eastenders pull a twist and ian ends up getting the vic, my skin is crawlin."

Another said: "Ok #EastEnders fans my guess on tonight last episode is: Ian buys the vic for Sharon but Dotty has her revenge by tellin Sharon that Ian killed Dennis."

Someone pleaded: "Please please please let it be Phill that buys the Vic I’m begging you please don’t make it be Ian for god sake #EastEnders."
