Benidorm has been providing plenty of laughs for fans for the past 11 years and ITV is showing repeats of the series. The show aired between February 2007 and May 2018, and it follows the staff and holidaymakers at the Solana Hotel in Benidorm, Spain. Fans are keen to know how many series of Benidorm have aired, and Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.
How many series of Benidorm are there?
Benidorm was produced by Tiger Aspect and it aired on ITV for a total of 10 series, from February 2007 to May 2018.
The series follows different families across the course of a week, and in July 2018 the series creator Derren Litten announced series 10 would be the last.
A stage adaptation called Benidorm Live was written, and 250 shows were scheduled to take place in theatres across the UK.
Fans loved seeing the familiar faces return to the all-inclusive hotel each year, as they can never stay away.
The show returns to ITV tonight (June 10), and it will air at 9pm, with a repeat at 10pm on ITV+1.

The episode will be available to watch on the ITV Hub if fans miss it, and the series is on Netflix.
Tonight’s (June 10) episode is a repeat and it will be the first episode of season eight, which aired in 2016.
In the episode, Sheron (played by Julie Graham) and Billy Dawson (Steve Edge) check in with their teenage son Rob (Josh Bolt), daughter Jodie (Honor Kneafsey) and grandad Eddie (Bobby Knutt).
The series features some very famous faces including Siobhan Finneran, who plays Janice, and she recently starred in the Netflix hit The Stranger.
Sheridan Smith also had a role in season three as Brandy, and Steve Pemberton played the role of Mick.
Fans loved the series as it brought the sun and sea to everyone’s homes at all times of the year.
The series won numerous awards and it had fans in stitches for its accurate portrayal of British holidaymakers.
There had been rumours in 2018 the series had been scrapped, with fans hearing in the news in April of that year.
Creator Derren Litten said on Twitter: “Crazy to think Wednesday will be the last episode of Benidorm!
“I created the series over 11 years ago, wrote it, guest starred in it and ended up directing it.
“It’s difficult to think what else there is to do! Thank you for watching! #MuchasGracias.”

However ITV then announced the series had not been scrapped, but its future was up in the air.
Later in July 2018, the sad news came the series was in fact being put to bed after 11 years.
Litten said: “Yes folks it’s true, after months of speculation, I can finally confirm Benidorm series 10 was the LAST EVER TV SERIES of @BenidormTVshow.”
The creator did not hold back when it came to expressing his disappointment about the series being cancelled.
There were plans to create a Benidorm movie but after a few months it was announced the movie had too been axed.
