“The Kelly Clarkson Show” has resumed with new episodes being produced from Kelly Clarkson‘s home in Montana.
Clarkson said recently that the new material will be incorporated into episodes taped before production was halted on March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The new episodes will feature interviews with celebrities and people doing community service. She will also be recording a “Good Neighbor” segment each day to spotlight the people who help others in the community during the pandemic.
There will be “Kellyoke” songs, which Clarkson has dubbed “Bathroom Kellyoke” at her home, providing glimpses at her life at the Montana ranch. Some of those will be included in episodes taped before production stopped.
The former “American Idol” winner previously treated viewers to renditions of Mariah Carey‘s “Vanishing” and Kenny Rogers‘ “Sweet Music Man.”
An extension of the first season called “The Kelly Clarkson Show: Summer Studio Sessions” with new installments has also been planned and these will start airing in June, according to NCBUniversal, the producer of the show. The episodes will include new “Kellyoke” performances, interviews and signature segments.
Alex Duda serves as executive producer and showrunner of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are the other executive producers.
Several other syndicated talk shows, including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Tamron Hall,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” “The View,” and “The Talk” are also resuming production with hosts working from home.
Clarkson is reportedly releasing a new single, “I Dare You,” on April 16. Her new Las Vegas residency, which was supposed to begin on April 1, has been postponed until July.
