Much has been made of men shaving their heads in lockdown, but these photos show women are taking the plunge, too. 

Women in the US and UK have taken to Twitter and Instagram to share snaps of their new buzzcuts as they streamline their hair and beauty routine in quarantine.

Some admitted they wanted to take advantage of the lack of social plans to try out a new look, while others wanted to make their hair ‘less complicated’ at a time when there is so much uncertainty. 

Many posted their snaps using #girlswithshavedheads, giving others the chance to take inspiration from their new looks.
