Stacey Dooley has revealed she’s working on making a coronavirus documentary for BBC Three from her flat.
The 33-year-old journalist shared the news with her followers on Instagram and encouraged them to get in touch with their quarantine stories following the nationwide lockdown to stop the spread of Covid-19.
‘Hi gang, hello, I’m sire you’re sick of these videos that everyone is posting online, I’m working from home for obvious reasons, I’m making a documentary for BBC Three about coronavirus,’ Stacey began.
The Strictly Come Dancing winner then flipped her phone to show her cameraman Josh, who was stood two meters away and wearing a surgical mask.

‘We’re desperate to hear how are you guys, how you’re getting on?’ Stacey asked..
‘How are you staying sane, how are you being productive, would love to hear about the unsung heroes so those that are prioritising others, putting their owns concerns, their own needs to the one side and making sure that the older crowd, those who are a bit more vulnerable are looked after.’
Stacey continued: ‘You might be getting shopping you might be working with the homeless, you might be associated with some kind of charity some kind of NGO, food distribution, giving blood.
‘The NHS workers on the front line we are so in awe of you we are so grateful, we recognise the severity of the situation, police, the supermarket workers everybody thank you so so much, I’d love to see your videos send us your clips quick bio what life is like now.’
The UK is currently on a three-week lockdown after Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered people to stay inside at their homes to stop the spread of coronavirus.
People will only be able to leave their home for shopping, one form of exercise a day for example a run, walk or cycle, any medical need, to provide care or help a vulnerable person, or to go to work.
Updating the nation following a Cobra meeting with cabinet ministers, he said: ‘You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say No.’
