A $350,000 reward has been offered to help solve a Valentine’s Day robbery in which an armed bandit fled a Melbourne shopping centre with bags of cash.
An Armaguard van was parked outside a pizza shop at Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre and two security guards were inside collecting cash when they were ambushed, about 8.14am on February 14, 2018.
Police said the robber aimed his gun at the guards and demanded they hand over satchels of cash.

They complied, before the armed man fled into an underground carpark and escaped on a black motorbike along Police Road, Mulgrave.
Detective Inspector Dean Thomas, from the Armed Crime Squad, said the public nature of the crime was of particular concern to police.
"We are hopeful that given the time that has passed, circumstances may have changed, and someone may now be in a position to come forward and provide that crucial piece of information to us so that we can solve this crime," he said.
"We are confident someone out there knows who did this and we are appealing for those people to contact us."

After leaving the shopping centre along Police Road, the armed bandit then turned right and headed south along Brady Road.
He is described as being about 175cm tall with a stocky build. He was wearing motorbike gear including a black and blue helmet, jacket, black pants, gloves and shoes.
The two security guards, aged 61 and 31 at the time, escaped uninjured.
