CHELSEA might not be playing much football at the moment – but there's always drama down at the Bridge.

The Premier League have extended the coronavirus ban meaning that the Blues will not be in Premier League action again until at least April 30.

And Juventus have reportedly offered Miralem Pjanic in exchange for Maurizio Sarri favourite Jorginho.

    Cesc Fabregas has hit out an an Arsenal fan on social media over a misinterpretation of his action.

    The Spanish midfielder was pointing to his heart while wearing a Chelsea kit at the Emirates.

    One fan accused him of being a “snake” because he was pointing to the Blues badge, but Fabregas said that was wrong.

    Football agents are reportedly set to lose fortunes in owed fees following the continued economic uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.

    SunSport revealed Premier League chiefs are already looking at ways of ripping up players’ contracts in the financial crisis as a way to slash costs.

    And agents stand to lose hundreds of thousands themselves, with a host of lower-level intermediaries facing the prospect of going out of business.

    The Daily Mail claim one figure has been forced to write off a £3,000 fee that a League One side owe him because he knows the club cannot pay him.

    Agents are not officially recognised as football creditors and thus receive little protection for money owed by clubs for deals completed in both the summer and January windows.

    Wayne Rooney has cast doubt over whether the Premier League will resume at the end of April.

    He wrote in the Times: “The date set for the leagues restarting is April 30 so, for the moment, we have to prepare as though we’ll be back playing then.

    “I can’t see it, to be honest, but it’s good the Premier League and EFL set the April 30 guideline because at least it gives everyone a bit of stability and something to aim for.

    I’m surprised some clubs, like Tottenham, trained last week and that Everton are due back in tomorrow. I don’t see any point bringing players in, even to train in little groups. I just think it goes against what the rest of the country is doing — which is following advice to work from home when possible.

    “Football is what everybody — especially in Britain — wakes up thinking about, but it has to take a back seat. This crisis is so much bigger than our game.”
