Hunter Biden’s child support agreement with a former stripper was finalized by a judge Thursday, a day before a public hearing in the case was set to go forward, according to court papers.
The settlement’s finalization between Hunter and Lunden Alexis Roberts, an ex-stripper whom he shares a 17-month-old child with, comes two days before he was set to show up in a Little Rock, Arkansas court and as his dad Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has been gaining momentum.
The son of the former Vice President reached an agreement with Roberts after a judge denied his bid to postpone his deposition and hearing this week because he said it would be “unsafe” to travel during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Hunter, 50, will have to pay an undisclosed amount of monthly child support and must provide healthcare coverage for the baby, according to the redacted agreement signed by an Arkansas judge.
Hunter’s lawyer Brent Langdon said, “the judge has approved the final order and the case has been resolved. There is no hearing tomorrow.”
Last month, Hunter — who is expecting his fifth child with 32-year-old Melissa Cohen Biden — asked that his deposition be postponed until April, after key debates in his father’s presidential campaign.
At the time, Langdon said it would “only ignites media attention and awareness,” with the intent to “annoy, embarrass, oppress” him.
Robert’s lawyer did not immediately return a request for comment.
