Great (royal) minds think alike.
Kate Middleton finished out the first day of her royal tour of Ireland with Prince William on Tuesday — and kept her green theme going strong — in a sparkling dress by The Vampire’s Wife ($2,080), which she wore to a reception at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin.
The 38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge’s “Falconetti” style features ruffles at the hem and three-quarter sleeves, and is strikingly similar to a look that’s been spotted on Princess Beatrice in the past.
Prince William’s 31-year-old cousin wore the label’s “Veneration” dress ($2,209) in the exact same color and fabric to several events in 2019, including Ellie Goulding’s wedding in August. Beatrice’s likeminded look has additional frills at the sleeves, along with a tiered ruffle hem.
Designed by Susie Cave, wife of Australian rocker Nick Cave, The Vampire’s Wife has earned a cult following among the celebrity set since its launch in 2016; its Gothic-meets-glam dresses have popped up on the likes of Natalie Portman, Kirsten Dunst, Margot Robbie and Chloë Grace Moretz.
Middleton accessorized her metallic emerald frock with a glittery gold clutch by Wilbur & Gussie ($314), velvet Manolo Blahnik pumps ($695) and a pair of affordable statement earrings from H&M ($12.99).
