HOUSTON — Knicks interim coach Mike Miller said he has yet to talk to Leon Rose, the superagent who has verbally agreed to take over as club president.

According to a source, the official announcement on Rose’s hiring is expected to come sometime next week.

Rose has been finishing his duties at Creative Artists Agency — with one of his last big responsibilities helping Dwyane Wade with his retirement weekend extravaganza in Miami. Rose had verbally agreed to take the Knicks job Feb. 6.

Rose’s official hiring could bring about some changes. Miller may be encouraged to start jacking up the minutes of young players such as Kevin Knox, Dennis Smith Jr., Damyean Dotson, Frank Ntilikina, Ignas Brazdeikas — even the buried Allonzo Trier.

The question, too, remains whether Rose makes any personnel changes to the basketball operations staff immediately with former GM Scott Perry now serving as acting president following Steve Mills’ firing Feb. 4.

When asked at Monday morning’s shootaround if he’s had a conversation with Rose, Miller said, “No, I speak to Scott and I speak to him several times a day.’’

The Knicks, who lost to the Rockets on Monday night, have a crucial draft upcoming with potentially three picks in the top 35. They have their own lottery pick — plus the Clippers’ late first-round pick from the Marcus Morris trade-deadline deal. They also own Charlotte’s second-round pick that will be in the 30s — obtained in the Willy Hernangomez trade in 2018.

Does Rose still want the old scouting staff in place scouting college players, even though many of them may be lame ducks?

Allan Houston reportedly should be retained with a promotion. However, The Post has learned Houston already got a promotion late last season from Westchester GM to special assistant to the GM. The Knicks never announced it. According to a source, Houston is close to Rose and William Wesley, who may be an unofficial team advisor.
