In tonight's Gogglebox, the first episode of the 15th series, viewers were left confused when long time cast member Stephen Webb unveiled his new hair style.

The Brighton resident appears on the show with his husband Daniel Lustig, and the married couple got talking about Stephen's growing hair.

Stephen, who has been since the very first series back in 2013, had grown his hair a little longer and was trying to style it in a middle parting.

He told Daniel: "I'm almost at optimal curtain length."

Showing off the throwback hair style, Stephen said: "This is me when I was 19, like, 'Oi, Dave, you coming raving tonight?"

He went on: "That's when I used to go down Lydd Airport raving."

Viewers at home weren't sold on his new hair style, with one even comparing him to fictional character Perry, from Kevin and Perry Go Large.

They wrote: "Stephen looks like Perry! Kathy Burke eat your heart out!"

A second said: "Stephen sort your barnet out."

And a third tweeted: "Stephen looks just like his mum."

While Stephen has been on the show since the start, his husband only joined last year for series 13.

He started the show with pal Christopher Steed, who appeared on the show until series 10 in 2018.

Christopher was replaced by Stephen's mum Pat, who appeared in series 11 and 12 before Daniel joined the show.

Stephen and Daniel got married in a secret ceremony in 2018, after getting engaged in 2016.

Stephen is now only one of a few original Gogglebox stars, including the Siddiqui family and the Michael family – though the latter had a break between series four and six.
