It’s safe to say that Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) has been eagerly anticipating the opening of The Cunningham’s Grand Bazaar in Hollyoaks, and — in the coming episodes — the very day that she’s been waiting for arrives.

It’s been an incredibly tough year for Cindy as, determined to start afresh, she decided to go into business with beau Luke (Gary Lucy), and — with financial support from Tom (Ellis Hollins) — they began making preparations for their new venture — something which Cindy named the Cunningham’s Grande Bazaar.

However, disaster struck — quite literally — as the building work descended into chaos as part of the soap’s signature October stunt, and matters became much worse when a drunk Luke entered the machinery and caused chaos.

In spite of everything, the pair manage to make their dreams come true, as the opening day of Cunningham’s Grande Bazaar arrives — and the village is buzzing as a result. Cindy and Luke rock a pair of matching red outfits — and all eyes are on them — but problems arise for Tom, as he panics when he loses the cue cards for his speech.

Will the day go off without a hitch?

It’s something that both Luke and Cindy have been greatly looking forward to, and —what with everything they’ve been through this year — it would be nice to see them share a moment of happiness.
