Emmerdale viewers saw Vanessa Woodfield (played by Michelle Hardwick) kidnapped by evil Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) after she finally came face-to-face with him in the village earlier this week. However, could she give him his comeuppance after discovering his killer secret as he continues to issue her dark threats?
Recent weeks have seen the village torn apart after Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) was brutally murdered in a huge whodunnit plot.
The ITV soap gave fans a list of suspects but the identity of the killer was kept a secret to pave way for Pierce Harris’ secret return.
He came back to the Dales to get revenge on Graham after serving two years in prison for raping his wife Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
Pierce has upped his stalking of his ex-wife in recent episodes as he continues to follow her around the village and enter her house without her knowledge.

The villagers are yet unaware of his return and his responsibility of Graham’s death as Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) remains in prison awaiting trial.
A devastated Rhona has vowed to get revenge on Graham’s real killer but it’s someone else who has been caught up in the crossfire.
Her best friend Vanessa, who is Pierce’s former enemy, has now been kidnapped by the evil killer after she discovered his return.
He subsequently took her hostage in Laurel Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy) house whilst she remains in Australia for Sandy Thomas’ (Freddie Jones) funeral.
After she rumbled Pierce’s return, he also dropped the huge bombshell he was in fact responsible for Graham’s murder.
Despite Vanessa initially refusing to believe his responsibility, it quickly transpired he was telling the truth as she remained fearful for her life.
Tonight saw things worsen as he kept Vanessa trapped inside the house and refused to let her go.
Her partner Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) finally started to cotton onto the fact something was up with Vanessa after she hadn’t returned her calls.

Her sister Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) came close to discovering the truth this evening but narrowly missed getting her sister out of trouble.
Tracey was walking her dog alongside the house as Vanessa screamed in a desperate bid to get her sister’s attention.
Unfortunately, she failed to hear her pleas and walked away – will anyone manage to discover Vanessa in time before Pierce ups his nasty scheme?

Now the mum fears what Pierce could do to her young son Johnny as he continues to hold them both captive.
Some fans believe the vet will be left for dead as she continues to worry about Johnny’s safety.
Vanessa gave him a stark warning, saying: “You touch one hair on that boy’s head and I will end you.”
Could Vanessa manage to get free once more and make a deadly attack on Pierce after his threats towards her and her son’s lives?
