Helen Flanagan has postponed her wedding to fiancé Scott Sinclair.
The Coronation Street actress has been dating the Preston North End footballer for 10 years, with the couple announcing their engagement back in 2018.
But the 29-year-old has now revealed that, despite plans to get married this year, the pair have decided to put their big day on hold – as her younger sister is tying the knot next summer.
‘Me and Scott have been together for 10 years, since forever,’ the Rosie Webster actress explained.
‘I know this sounds weird but because we’ve got children and been together for so long, we already feel like we’re married.
‘We were going to get married this year but my little sister is getting married next summer,’ she added to Express. ‘So maybe next year.’
The pair started dating in 2009 and have been inseparable ever since, welcoming two daughters together – Matilda and Delilah.
Scott popped the question to Helen in the most fairytale-style way, getting down on one knee in front of the castle during a holiday to a Disney themepark.
And Helen also lifted the lid on plans to expand their family, a year after welcoming their youngest child.
The Mirror states she said: ‘I would really love more children.
‘I’ve always said four but that will probably be too much, so I’ll say three.
‘When you have two children, you just love them equally.
‘I would love a girl or boy as long as they’re healthy, you’re just lucky to carry a baby aren’t you?’
