It’s the Love Island episode we’ve all been waiting for – or dreading – as the boys returned from Casa Amor for a recoupling ceremony.
And it did not disappoint.
There were savage dumpings and emotional reunions galore, as Callum Jones headed back to the main villa with new girl Molly Smith on his arm, leaving Shaughna Phillips devastated.
While Nas Majeed recoupled with Eva Zapico, leaving Demi Jones baffled and newly single.
Jess Gale also blasted Mike Boateng in a brutal speech as she paired up with new boy Ched Uzor.
So if you had other plans for some reason, or just fancied an early night, here’s what you missed on tonight’s episode.
Callum dumps Shaughna
While this might not be the biggest shock to viewers – seeing as Callum kissed Molly earlier in the week – Shaughna had no idea what was unfolding in Casa Amor, and held out hope that he would remain faithful to her.
And in walked Laura Whitmore to shatter that illusion.
During the recoupling session, the host asked if she thought her man would stay loyal during his stay-cation.
‘I’m nervous, I’m preparing for the worst, hoping for the best but I don’t have much faith,’ she began.
‘The past few days have definitely been an eye-opener, they’ve made me realise I probably moan at him way too much and I just miss having him around, so I do want him back, preferably on his own.’
It was then that Callum sheepishly walked into the villa with Molly on his arm, and the look on her face said it all.
And, right on cue, the episode ended, leaving us all probably as devastated as Shaughna.
An award-winning cliffhanger if ever we saw one.
Nas recouples with Eva
Sadly, this wasn’t the only relationship to come crumbling down.
Nas decided, in the short time he had been away from Demi, that his head had been well and truly turned by new girl Eva.
On seeing the pair walking in to the villa together, she admitted: ‘I feel gutted. I feel like I didn’t have enough time with Nas, but it is what it is at the end of the day.’
Discussing his decision, he explained that he felt he had a better ‘connection’ elsewhere.
‘It’s not a nice feeling and in all honesty I cannot fault you Demi,’ he replied.
‘You’ve been amazing, Demi, but I just feel like in a short space of time we had a better connection.’
Behavioural expert Judi James doesn’t quite agree…
Love is in the air for Paige and Finn, Siannise and Luke T
Thankfully, it wasn’t doom, gloom and heartache for all the couples.
Paige Turley became emotional as beau Finley Tapp walked in solo, meaning they were still in a couple together and neither head had been turned by a new arrival.
Elsewhere, Siannise Fudge and Luke T were also reunited, with Siannise admitting she had been sleeping cuddling his eye mask every single night since he left the villa.
New pairings formed all over the villa as previously single Rebecca Gormley chose to couple up with Jordan Waobikeze, and Luke M returned to the villa with Natalia Zoppa.
Jess fumes at Mike in recoupling speech
Jess Gale took aim at Mike Boateng in the most brutal recoupling speech of the lot, when she decided to go for Ched Uzor.
Mike had returned to the main villa with Priscilla on his arms, seemingly forgetting that he had told Jess just days before that she was the only girl for him.
While that may have slipped his mind, the twin was well aware of his words, and took aim at his antics.
When Laura asked how she felt about his decision, she didn’t hold back, telling the host: ‘I’ve had my doubts about Mike.
‘I felt like Mike was untrustworthy and obviously this confirms it, so… It’s cool with me.’
Turning her attention (sort of) to Ched, she said: ‘I would like to recouple. Ever since the boy came into the villa, he’s shown interest in one girl and one girl only.
‘He’s been honest, straight up and so confident, I just feel like I can trust him.
‘I never need to question whether he’s genuine, whereas I have in previous situations. When we’re together, I feel like there’s a natural connection. He’s funny and I can see us together in the outside world.’
But what will happen to all the relationships going forward?
Unfortunately for us all, ITV decided to forego their usual teaser at the end of the episode, meaning we’ll just have to stew in Shaugna’s glare for precisely 21 hours.
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
