A man has transformed his 4×4 truck into a mobile travel home costing almost £20,000.
Tim Johnson, 38, based in Alaska, had been using a run-down vehicle to explore the country until last year when he upgraded to a 1996 Ford F350.
After an incredible renovation, the truck can host six people, and comes equipped with two sofas, oven, fridge, wood stove, toilet, heating, TV/DVD player, USB charging stations, under couch and under floor storage, 100 watt solar panel on roof, firewood storage and even a covered back porch.
He uses the vehicle to explore Alaska, and after spending six years in his old home, he can now travel in style with everything needed to make a house, or in this case a truck, a home.
Tim said: “My Truck house is perfect, it has everything I need to stay out for as long as I need.”
Most of the renovation work was carried out by Tim himself, who picked up DIY skills from his dad.

He added: “My Dad builds custom cabins for a living and was self-taught in all of the trades and that's who I learned my carpentry and overall DIY skills from."
When Tim's Toyota was on its last legs, he bought a classic Ford truck for just under £10,000 because he wanted to finally create his own dream truck house.
“I started modifying it last year, fitted an airbag and modified the engine and turbo so it had a little more fire in Its belly, it took me a couple of months to finish," he said.
To build the house on the back of the truck cost another £10,000 pushing the overall total up to around £20,000.

Most of the renovation works were carried out by Tim himself, while a friend skilled in aluminium welding made his front winch bumper.
He added: "What is great though is that I sold my old truck and, in the end, didn’t have to spend very much on top to fund my new Ford so in truth it hasn’t really cost me anything.
“The whole process took me about three months to modify, design and finish the home but I’m really pleased with how it turned out.”
Tim had been living in his old motor-home for six years, but after realising the cost to get it back to pristine condition would be a fortune, he cut ties and started his dream project.
He said: “I wasn’t in a rush with this project, I thought if I was going to do it again, I wanted to do it property and make it exactly how I had pictured it in my head.”
“When I figured the cost of my dream truck house could be covered by old, it was a no-brainer.
“I haven’t spent over what I made from selling my old truck, which made about covered most of the cost of my new one, which I think is a much better version of what I had before.
Tim is now able to travel all over Alaska, staying overnight in his favourite places, and soaking up the views that it has to offer.
