Zara Tindall has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding in the English county of Gloucestershire in June 2019, USA TODAY confirmed Thursday through HM Courts & Tribunals Service Gloucestershire.

The British royal, who is the daughter of Princess Anne and eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, pleaded guilty, through her lawyer, to the speeding offense. She was not required to appear in court.

Tindall had 9 points on her license and was given another four after the latest incident, taking her to over 12 points, according to HMCTS Gloucestershire.

In addition to the ban, Tindall was fined approximately $870 (£666) and $110 (£85) of costs and paid a victim surcharge of about $86 (£66).

USA TODAY has reached out to Buckingham Palace and Gloucestershire Police for comment.

Tindall won’t be the only royal without permission to drive in the coming months.

In February 2019, Prince Philip decided to give up driving weeks after the 98-year-old husband to the queen was involved in a car crash.

“After careful consideration The Duke of Edinburgh has taken the decision to voluntarily surrender his driving license,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement to USA TODAY at the time.

The Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, emerged unscathed from a car wreck near the royal Sandringham estate in January 2019.

A woman named Emma Fairweather, then-46, was also involved in the crash. She suffered a broken wrist in the collision that left Philip’s Land Rover overturned. She was riding in a Kia at the time with her then-28-year-old friend – who was driving – and her friend’s then-9-month-old baby boy. Her friend suffered minor cuts and the child was unhurt.
