“For people who have to travel the next few days, there’s no issues,” predicted Tom Kines, an Accuweather meteorologist, saying the sun is expected to shine throughout the week.
On Sunday, the first night of Hanukkah, temperatures will return to the mid-40s for the first time in a week. Monday will be even warmer, topping out in the lower 50s.
Tuesday will remain dry, with the thermometer dipping a bit, back down to the mid-40s, where it will remain for Christmas Day.
“I know some people will want snow for Christmas, that’s not going to happen,” Kines said.
But he did say the warm, dry weather will remain through Thursday, which AAA predicts will be the busiest travel day of the holiday season.
