It’s a look of pure joy — the adorable little girl slowly tears through the wrapping paper of her Christmas present to discover … a banana. And she loves it.

“Banana!” squeals 2-year-old Aria Mojica in a now-viral video.

Justice Mojica, known by screen name LGNDFRVR, was trying to prank his daughter by giving her the “worst Christmas gift ever,” he said. But he and wife never expected their daughter’s reaction.

“I didn’t think she would get excited for this,” he said. “We knew that she was really grateful, but we were really taken back.”

Aria’s parents produce comedy skits under the LGNDFRVR brand for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Most of their videos tell stories about relationships, LGND said. They’ve only recently started featuring Aria in the videos.

“We actually hid her face for an entire year, but she has so much personality, even as a baby, that we started filming her because she’s a big ball of good vibes,” he said. “To have my daughter be a part of this now, it’s amazing.”

To no surprise, Aria loves food, especially bananas, LGND said.

“I could give her a cookie right now, and she’d go crazy. But she definitely loves bananas. There are random nights when she wakes up and is like ‘banana!'”

Since Aria recently turned 2, this year will be her first “real Christmas,” LGND said.

“She’s been really excited about Christmas and Santa Claus. It’s so new to her,” he said. “She sings along to Christmas carols. It’s a beautiful thing.”

LGND said his daughter has been watching videos of kids unwrapping Christmas gifts, so he thought he’d prank her with a fake gift.

“I just wanted to see her reaction. She’s such a character. You never know what she’s going to do,” he said. “You can’t make this stuff up. This was a real reaction. It wasn’t a skit. It wasn’t scripted. We were just trying to capture our daily lives. This is who we really are.”

LGND said he originally posted the video to YouTube, but that it got much more attention on TikTok and Twitter. In one day, the Twitter video had accumulated more than 4 million views, LGND said, and it now has more than 12 million.

“It’s amazing that we were able to make the world smile,” he said.
