Woman now has toned abs and glutes after she lost over a stone in JUST eight weeks by exercising and cutting out the booze

A woman now has toned abs and glutes, after she lost over a stone in just 8 weeks, by exercising and cutting out the booze.

Hannah Wilding, from London, found herself struggling with her mental health last Christmas, and in January she decided that a new exercise routine could help.

She signed up for F45’s 8 week challenge – which not only increased her moods but also helped her lose weight.

She also changed her diet and cut out the booze, and after eight weeks she’d lost over a stone – starting at 12st 3lbs she went down to 11st.

Hannah said: ‘I’d been struggling with my mental health for the last couple of years, which always worsened over winter. After Christmas I decided to do something to combat it and figured at the very least I’d have tried something new. 

‘I decided I needed to get moving, increase my energy levels and get back my good habits like cooking at home. I wanted a challenge to push myself and take myself out of my comfort zone.  

She signed up to the F45 8 week challenge in Fulham. The eight week challenge includes a tailored food plan and a recommendation of how many times a week she should attend classes.

‘I was unfit at the start but I really enjoyed the classes. The endorphins post exercise really helped lift my mood in the mornings when I previously had felt groggy.

‘Within a week my energy levels had increased and with two weeks I was starting to notice changes to my body. 

‘I loved being able to see my progress by lifting heavier weights and getting more personal bests with my heart rate monitor.

As part of the package, Hannah also had access to an online portal with menu plans, shopping lists and a personalised dashboard to track her results.

She admits that she still goes to F45 Fulham five times a week and has gained more than than a good figure

The problem with her diet before, she claims, is that she snacked too much and her meals wasn’t very exciting: ‘Before the challenge I ate a lot of omelettes, scrambled eggs, roast chicken and vegetables, with the left over chicken I’d make lunches for the week. 

‘My snacking was all over the show though – lots of sweet treats, biscuits at work and plenty of chocolate after dinner.

‘During the challenge I mostly stuck to the F45 meal plan. I only drank once during the 8 weeks. The plan helped me see I hadn’t been eating enough protein and my portions were too big.  

She admits that she still goes to F45 Fulham five times a week and has gained more than than a good figure: ‘I love it and have made really great friends at the studio.’
