DEONTAY WILDER will earn more than DOUBLE Luis Ortiz in their WBC heavyweight title rematch.
The Bronze Bomber, 34, was given a serious wobble in their March 2018 bout before he roared back to win by tenth round knockout.
And in their rerun on Saturday night, they are set to bank twice the cash.
ESPN report Wilder is guaranteed £2.3million while challenger Ortiz will take home £1.1m.
But with the rematch on pay-per-view in the US, the confirmed purses are only a fraction of what the heavyweight duo will likely take home.
It is understood Wilder is in line to make £15.5m with Ortiz earning £5.4m.
This marks a major increase from their non-PPV clash last year, where the champion was paid £1.6m and the challenger £390,000.
In the summer, Ortiz turned down the chance to replace drug-banned Jarrell Miller and face Anthony Joshua for the unified belts at Madison Square Garden.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed the Cuban would have been paid £5.5m, in a fight Andy Ruiz Jr would later score a stunning upset.
But the chance to avenge his only defeat, and still make the same money was enough to persuade Ortiz to turn down AJ and go after Wilder.
The 40-year-old vowed to make the WBC champion pay for offering him a rematch with Tyson Fury already scheduled to fight the American next year.
Ortiz said: "I don't like to lose. There were legitimate circumstances why I wasn't at my best the first fight.
“It was a fatigue stoppage. I believe if I had continued, I would have gotten the knockout. It was only fatigue, but I've corrected that this time around, so the better man will win.
“We will show you on Saturday night how we're going to win. When the bell rings it will be on display. But we're always ready to adapt. Everyone will see on Saturday night.”
