This is the bizarre moment a suspect jumps from the first-floor window of a police station while still handcuffed to a radiator.

Footage shows the man, who has not been named, land on top of a red car before running away clutching the heater as policemen look on from the upstairs window.

It was filmed in Russia’s second biggest city, St Petersburg, on a smartphone.


A man has been filmed leaping from the first-floor of a police station in St Petersburg, Russia, while stiff handcuffed to a radiator

The video shows the detainee step onto the window ledge before jumping while clutching a radiator.

He lands on a red car below the window with a thud.

And, as officers look down on him from the window, the man is seen sliding off the vehicle and running away while clutching the radiator in two hands.

It is unclear why the man had been taken to the police station, and whether he was re-captured by the authorities.

It is believed the man had detached the radiator that he was handcuffed to from the wall, before making his escape.

The clip was uploaded to social media on November 15.


Footage, taken on a smartphone, showed him landing on the red car with a thud before running away. It is not known why he was in the station and whether he has been re-captured by authorities
